GE-Alston Power (India) has placed an order with Primasonics International for the supply of 16 Model Q4 (75 Hz) Sonic Soot Blowers together with ancillary equipment for their prestige project in Thailand.

The company are providing replacement ESPs for the large 2,400 MW coal fired Mae Moh Power Plant in Lampang province, Thailand. James Swindlehurst, PIL’s Engineering Manager has been working closely with GE-Alston Power technical staff to ensure that the installation of the Primasonics Sonic Soot Blowers proceeds in a planned and professional manner. Commenting on the order, Don Cameron, PIL’s CEO said that he was obviously delighted that GE-Alston Power had selected the Primasonics Sonic Soot Blowers for this important project and looked to working with them on future projects.

Last year the Mae Moh Power Plant through local engineering company and PIL agent Zenith Power installed 48 Model Q4 Sonic Soot Blowers in other ESPs on this huge site.
